Welcome to Epping Tower, Tallinn’s Old Town Tower built in the 1370s, featuring an interactive exhibition dedicated to the development of Tallinn’s medieval city walls and armaments. Six floors of exhibition showcase the rich history of Tallinn’s medieval fortification and tower complex through informative and historical displays.
Displays are in both English and Estonian, and we welcome groups, reservations and events. Come and experience a fun and educational adventure for the whole family at Epping Tower!
Visitors of all ages can wear armour and helmets, and try out medieval weapon replicas. Immerse yourself in history and take memorable photos! For the most special souvenir, grab the hammer and mint a copy of Tallinn’s first coin. Upstairs is an authentic, full-sized catapult, overlooking the seasonal Tower Square.
